This Privacy Policy describes how MAGE SAS (hereinafter “MAGE” or “we”) collects, uses, and protects the personal data of users (providers and clients) of its application. By using our application, you accept the terms of this policy.
1. Collection of Personal Data
We collect information about you when you use our application, including during registration, service booking, and the use of messaging services. The collected data includes:
• Identification data: name, first name, email address, phone number.
• Service-related information: residential address (for clients) or service address (for providers) to offer local recommendations.
• Payment data and IBAN: client payment information is managed via our secure partner, Stripe. Providers must provide their IBAN to enable the transfer of funds collected to their wallet. The IBAN is retained only for the proper execution of transfers.
• Technical data: information related to your device (IP address, browser type, operating system).
2. Use of Collected Data
Personal data collected through our application is used for the following purposes:
• User account management: to allow access and manage provider and client accounts.
• Personalized recommendations: to suggest providers or clients near your residence or service location based on provided addresses.
• Payment management: to process financial transactions through secure payment service providers.
• Internal messaging: to enable communication between providers and clients for scheduling or service follow-up.
• Improvement of our services: to analyze application usage and enhance features and user experience.
3. Location and Geographic Recommendations
There is no real-time geolocation within the MAGE application. However, we use the residential addresses (clients) or service addresses (providers) you provide to recommend nearby providers or clients. This data is used only for recommendation personalization and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Messaging and Communication via the Application
When you communicate via the integrated messaging tool in the application to organize appointments or discuss service-related questions, these exchanges are recorded and may be used to facilitate service management. These messages are retained as long as necessary to ensure smooth service execution and to comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, namely:
• Application usage data: retained for the duration of your account use.
• Payment-related data: retained for the period required by applicable legislation (5 years for financial transactions).
• Messages: retained for a period of 12 months from the last interaction.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include the encryption of sensitive data (payments) and security protocols for accessing our servers.
7. Sharing Data with Third Parties
Your data is not sold or rented to third parties. However, we may share your data with service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments) who act as processors and are required to respect data confidentiality.
8. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of rectification: you may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

With your consent, we may also send you marketing or promotional notifications, such as special offers or new services available on the application. You can manage your preferences for these notifications at any time in the application settings.
10.3 Managing Notifications:
You can manage your notification preferences directly in your account settings or on your mobile device. You may choose to disable promotional notifications while keeping service notifications.
11. Integration with URSSAF and CESU APIs
As part of managing social declarations and services, we use APIs provided by URSSAF and CESU to facilitate the administrative and tax procedures of providers and clients. These integrations enable:
• Facilitating provider service and income declarations to URSSAF.
• Managing declarations and payments of social contributions for clients employing providers via CESU.
The data required for these declarations, including identification information for providers and clients, transaction amounts, and tax data, is securely transmitted through these APIs. We ensure that all data transmitted in this context complies with GDPR requirements and is used solely to fulfill users’ legal obligations.
12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Users will be informed of any significant changes by notification through the application. The updated version will be published with the last modification date.
