  • The A1 level, or “beginner level,” addresses fundamental needs in French. It is designed for individuals who are starting their language learning journey and wish to :

    • Introduce themselves and talk about themselves in a simple manner (name, age, nationality, profession, etc.).

    • Understand and use short and common phrases for practical needs (shopping, asking for directions, etc.).

    • Engage in basic interactions with speakers who talk slowly and clearly.

This level is particularly relevant for administrative procedures, including :

    • Signing the Republican Integration Contract (CIR), required for newly arrived foreigners seeking a residence permit for one year or more.

    • For a residency regularization request, an A1-level certificate is not mandatory but highly recommended.

    • Applying for or renewing temporary residence permits, when an A1 level certificate is required to demonstrate linguistic integration.

The A1 level is therefore a key step to facilitate integration and meet legal obligations related to residing in France.

  • The A2 level, or “elementary level,” builds upon the fundamental skills acquired at the A1 level and enables individuals to communicate more effectively in everyday situations. It is designed for learners who wish to:

    • Express themselves with greater fluency and accuracy on familiar topics such as daily life, work, and personal interests.

    • Understand and produce simple, connected sentences in spoken and written communication.

    • Handle basic conversations and social interactions with speakers who use standard speech at a moderate pace.

This level is particularly relevant for administrative procedures, including:

    • Obtaining the 10-year resident card, which requires applicants to demonstrate an A2 level in French as proof of linguistic integration.

    • Fulfilling integration requirements for certain residence permits, where an A2 certificate may be necessary to renew or apply for long-term residency.

  • The B1 level, or “intermediate level,” helps improve basic French and develop skills in many situations. It is for people who already know some French and want to:

    • Talk about daily activities, express preferences, and do shopping.

    • Understand simple sentences and common expressions about personal information, family, work, or daily life.

    • Communicate more easily in simple and direct conversations.

This level is very important for administrative procedures, such as:

    •     Getting a 10-year resident card.

    •     French citizenship

The B1 level helps you become more independent in daily life and meet the language requirements for living in France.

Our French Classes

Learn French to Better Integrate Yourself

We support our students from the beginning of their journey to the achievement of their goals. They start with a language assessment to better place them in classes that match their level.

We guide them in achieving their objectives by handling administrative registrations for the class that suits them best. They will receive tailored advice based on their individual needs and will be supported throughout their language training to address any needs or administrative procedures.

All our courses are structured around practical French for everyday life, cultural outings and visits, as well as exams to help you achieve your goals.

Various events and activities (theater, museums, etc.) will be organized to help you deepen and apply the knowledge acquired during our courses.
